Best Lens for Canon Rebel T6
2016 was particularly a good year for me. It’s this year that I made a decision about what I really wanted and why. Yes. You guessed right. I decided to go all in on photography. Why? What Type of Lens do I Want for my Canon Rebel T6I?

Telephoto Lenses

Telephoto lenses are zoom lenses that have several focus points. These lenses are excellent for focusing on a distant object. Nevertheless, the increased magnification comes at a price…

Telephoto lenses can be divided into the following groups.

Short Telephoto – Ranging from 85mm to 135mm, these compact and lightweight lenses are ideal for everyday use.

Medium Telephoto – They are larger, longer, and heavier, with focal lengths ranging from 135mm to 300mm.

Super Telephoto – These types of telephoto lenses have focal lengths that stretch over 300mm and offer magnification similar to that of a telescope. However, they are too heavy to be used for handheld photography.

Wide Angle Lenses

Wide-angle lenses, as the name implies, provide a wider field of view of 64° to 180°. Shorter focal lengths on interchangeable wide-angle lenses are denoted by smaller numbers. These are 34mm and smaller, where the field of vision begins to become larger than what “regular” lenses provide.

These are the three distinct types of wide angle lenses:

Wide angle lenses — They have a range of 24-35mm, which provides the best balance of field of view and visual quality.

Ultra-wide angle lenses — Having focal lengths between 18 and 24mm, these lenses offer the best image quality.

Fisheye lenses — They are wider than 18mm and are renowned for their curved lines and unusual perspective, which can be artistically effective for a wide range of applications.

Macro Lens

Macro lenses are designed to get as near to a subject as possible in order to capture the smallest details. Macro lenses are built differently than regular ones. Macro lenses are well-known for their ability to produce beautiful bokeh and decent contrast and clarity. They are excellent for nature photography since they let you capture an enormous amount of detail in one image.

Types of macro focal lengths:

45 to 65mm — The best macro lens focal length for product photography, shooting small subjects from very close-up, and capturing scenes that require a natural background perspective.

90 to 105mm — The ideal macro lens focal length for taking close-ups of small subjects from a comfortable distance.

150 to 200mm — The best macro lens focal length for capturing small subjects that require a greater distance while keeping the optimum focusing distance for macro photography.
